Ingredients

  • Bananas for topping optional
  • ½ portion of a package Dromedary Gingerbread Mix
  • 1 cup water
  • Fresh whipped cream for topping

Instructions
 

  • Before you begin mixing the ingredients, preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). This ensures that the oven is ready when you're done preparing the batter.
  • In a mixing bowl, combine 1 cup of water with half of the portion of the Artisanal Dromedary Gingerbread Mix. Stir the mixture thoroughly until all the ingredients are well incorporated and you have a smooth batter. Pour the batter evenly into the prepared cake pans.
  • Place the cake pans in the preheated oven and bake according to the instructions on the Dromedary Gingerbread Mix package or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  • Once baked, remove the cakes from the oven and let them cool in the pans for a few minutes.
  • Carefully remove the gingerbread layers from the cake pans and place them on a wire rack to cool completely.
  • Once the gingerbread layers are completely cooled, you can start assembling the layer cake. Place one layer on a serving plate.
  • Optionally, add sliced bananas on top of the first layer for added flavor and texture.
  • Spread a layer of fresh whipped cream over the first layer of gingerbread. Place the second layer on top.
  • Continue layering the gingerbread and whipped cream until you've used all the cake layers.
  • Top the Gingerbread Layer Cake with additional whipped cream and garnish with sliced bananas if desired.
  • Slice and serve your delicious Gingerbread Layer Cake. The combination of moist gingerbread, whipped cream, and optional banana slices makes for a delightful treat.
