Equipment

  • Mixing Bowl
  • blender

Ingredients

  • 2 tsp Minced Garlic
  • 1 tsp Jalapeno juice
  • 1/2 tbsp Pickled Jalapeno peppers
  • 1/2 tsp Chili Powder
  • 1/4 tsp Smoked Paprika
  • 2 tsp Fry seasoning
  • 1 cup Mayonnaise
  • 4 tbsp Tomato ketchup

Instructions

  • In a mixing bowl, combine the mayonnaise, minced garlic, chili powder, pickled jalapeno peppers, jalapeno juice, and smoked paprika. Mix well to ensure all the flavors are evenly distributed.
  • Once the mixture is well combined, add the tomato ketchup and fry seasoning. Again, mix thoroughly to incorporate all the ingredients. Ensure that there are no lumps.
  • Taste the sauce and adjust the seasoning according to your preference. You can add more jalapeno juice for an extra kick or more smoked paprika for a stronger smoky flavor.
  • Transfer the sauce to a jar or an airtight container. Cover it and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to allow the flavors to meld together.
  • Once chilled, your Freddy's Jalapeno Fry Sauce is ready to be enjoyed! Serve it alongside your favorite fries or other food items for dipping.

Notes

  • Adjust the Spice Level: If you prefer a milder sauce, reduce the amount of chili powder and pickled jalapenos. On the other hand, if you like it extra spicy, feel free to increase the quantities.
  • Customize the Consistency: If you prefer a thicker sauce, use less jalapeno juice, or add a bit more mayonnaise. Conversely, if you like a thinner sauce, increase the amount of jalapeno juice or add a splash of milk.
  • Let it Chill: Allowing the sauce to chill in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes enhances the flavors and consistency. It also helps the sauce thicken slightly.
  • Make it Ahead of Time: This sauce can be prepared in advance and stored in the refrigerator for up to a week. It is great for meal prepping or for hosting gatherings where you want to have all your ingredients ready.
  • Experiment with Add-ins: If you want to add an extra layer of flavor to the sauce, you can try adding a dash of Worcestershire sauce, a squeeze of lime juice, or even a pinch of cayenne pepper.
